Dr. (Mrs.) T. Jyothirmayi, has been working as Senior Principal Scientist & Head at CSIR-CFTRI Resource Centre, Hyderabad and she has over 30 years of experience in the area of Food Processing, Preservation and Value addition. She has experience in the field of fish roe characterization, value addition to fruits & vegetables and development of healthy extruded snack products incorporating cereal-pulse-millet combinations. She has over 50 research publications in National and International Journals and 3 Indian patents. She is mentor for Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India, an NGO as well as Women Entrepreneur Hub of Telangana state. She delivers All India Radio talks and EDP lectures on various platforms. She is well versed and aids in faster technology transfer from CSIR-CFTRI for the needy entrepreneurs. She is actively involved in all the AFST(I) activities and Former member of AFST(I) Diamond Jubilee building Committee as well as publicity committee and currently member of the AFST(I) Building committee. She is life member of Association Food Scientists and Technologists (India), Nutrition Society of India, Oil Technologists Association of India and Indian Science Congress Association. She served AFSTI Hyderabad Chapter as past Hon. Secretary and is currently serving in the capacity of Hon. President since 2019.
