AFST(I), Thrissur Chapter is organizing various programmes titled food salvatio'22 on the occasion of World Food Safety Day 2022 in association with Verghese Kurien Institute of Dairy and Food Technology, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy in association with the Food Safety Department, Thrissur district. The program is scheduled from 06-06-2022 to 10-06-2022 for five days. The program was started with a skit presentation and an awareness class at Paramekkavu Vidya Mandir CBSE School from 9.00-10.00 am on 06-06-2022. As the continuity of the program flash mob, skit presentation and an awareness class at Mannuthy square at 4:30-5:30pm. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the plans are all made for flashmob, skit presentation and awareness at Shakthan Stand, Kerala Veterinary University and vadakkumnathan temple round, respectively. The skit titled "aaharavum avakashavum" gives a clear cut idea about how food kills a person and what all a person can do in such cases. The awareness was all about safe food for our better health. On the last day that is Friday 10-06-2022, a national wide webinar will be conducted by Dr. Sanu Jacob, Director of the southern region, FSSAI and a national wide valedictory function.
