Greetings from AFST(I),
We are pleased to inform that FSSAI has recently launched Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) initiative and Association of Food Scientists and Technologists India, AFST(I) has been selected as one of the Training Partners. We are very happy to communicate to you that AFST(I) & FSSAI will be conducting first National Level Advance “Train the Trainer” (TOT) Program for General Manufacturing on Saturday 22nd July at Envirocare Centre for Continual Education & Research, Thane. Thetraining is supported by Envirocare Labs and Safe Food Solutions.
The objective of the program is to help capacity development initiative of FSSAI and the qualified trainers will further disseminate learnings through supervisory training program all across India. Detailed training program is attached herewith.

Details of the Course
Duration : One day – 8 hrs.
Reading Material : General Manufacturing FSMS Manual and Presentation
The Maximum Seats for this Training Program is 25.
Evaluation : Post training each participant will be evaluated on three parameters
4) Minimum Passing marks : 70%
All successful participants would be qualified as Trainer under FSSAI- Fostac and can impart training to others

Members are requested to nominate only one senior official having the following qualification which is a Mandatory qualification for participants:
Minimum graduate in science/ food technology/ Oil Technology/ food science/ chemistry/ biology/ micro biology subjects with minimum 5 yrs of work experience in manufacturing and / If graduate in other streams minimum 7 years relevant work & implementation experience.
