A National Food Convention 2025 is being organized jointly by AFST (India), Mysuru and the Department of Food Engineering & Technology of SLIET, Longowal on the World Food Day theme "“Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future” on Oct 15-16, 2025 at SLIET, Longowal. This conference will help to bridge the gap between the young scientists and the senior researchers working in the area of functional foods and nutraceuticals as well as lead to develop university-industry interactions in the related industrial sector. Besides, it will serve as a platform providing an opportunity to young scientists/researchers scholars to develop and open up new avenues for future collaborations and professional engagements in a meaningful and productive manner.
